CLI 1000 Imaging Probes

CLI 1000 Sealed Imaging Probes

The CLI 1000 series is a small, light-weight, hand-held imaging probe designed for high frequency imaging applications (8.0 – 18.0 MHz). The probe is hermetically sealed and may be detached from its cable for simple, easy cleaning and disinfecting. CLI has produced variations of this probe design since 1985.

Housing Options

The heart of the CLI probe is a sealed, nickel plated assembly containing all of the functional components of the probe. A plastic housing, or “cover”, is applied over this assembly to provide custom design elements. These covers can be designed by CLI or by the customer. A sample of possible designs is included at right.

Applications

Ophthalmology

Posterior chamber, or retinal imaging, is a frequent use of this probe. CLI is the world’s leading supplier of probes for this application. Double-click on the image at right to see a sample image from our 12.5 and 18MHz probes.

Neurosurgery/Intraoperative

Because this probe is hermetically sealed, has a small diameter and is easily cleaned or disinfected, it is well suited for use in the O.R. The probe is suitable for scanning through burr holes, craniotomies and other surgical applications.

Small Animal Veterinary

Small size and a wide range of high frequencies make this probe valuable for various imaging applications in the small animal practice.
